Baton Rouge native Arianne Bellizaire took her cue from London’s Chelsea Flower Show when creating a bathroom and closet modeled after an enchanting garden. A stunning mirrored vanity is installed in the closet, which Bellizaire painted in complimentary colors from Farrow & Ball, and paired with an abstract carpet from The Rug Company. “My challenge with the closet was figuring out a way to bring drama to a utilitarian space, in a way that was unexpected and bold,” says the designer.
Guest Bedroom and bathroom by Casa Vilora Interiors by Veronica Solomon
Texan Veronica Solomon of Casa Vilora Interiors begins her design process with inspiration found in a textile, wallpaper, or rug. “The source often shapes the color palette and desired mood, influencing how I blend patterns in the space,” she says. For her showhouse bedroom and bath, hand-painted wallpaper by Porter Teleo provides the spark she was searching for. Floor-length drapery coupled with the inkblot pattern, a canopy bed, and hair-on-hide nightstands of her own design translate to a restful snooze.
Guest Bedroom and bathroom by Summerhouse
Summerhouse principal designer Lisa Palmer’s bedroom fuses an eclectic mix of antique and contemporary furnishings for a layered boudoir. Gracie’s Tobacco Silhouette wallcovering wraps the interior, while an 18th-century Empire daybed calls attention. Stylish drapes and triangular velvet ottomans, all trimmed with Samuel & Sons braid and fringe, add frill to the swanky vignette.
Nursery and bathroom by Kara Cox Interiors
Kara Cox used Liberty Home’s signature floral motifs as the launch point for creating a charmed nursery. “We knew we wanted to incorporate layers of floral prints, and that’s what Liberty does so well,” says Cox. An antique chest and vanity mirror accompany the cozy Coley Home daybed upholstered in pink mohair with a custom scalloped canopy to complete the dreamy nook.
