If you long to learn how to grow your own vegetables, register now for the Guadalupe County Master Gardeners Beginners Basic Vegetable Gardening, a five-part series, starting Jan. 6, 2024.
Classes are geared toward beginners who will learn basic gardening skills and techniques, including how to select a site, prepare the soil, build beds, install irrigation, direct seeding and transplants, identify common insect and disease problems, and more.
Classes will be held on Saturdays through Feb. 3, from 8 a.m. to noon in the AgriLife Extension Office at 210 E. Live Oak St. in Seguin. The cost per person is $65. RSVPs are required by Monday, Dec. 18.
