The much-awaited annual flower show will be held at Empress Botanical Garden off Solapur Road near St Patrick’s Church between January 25 and 28. Empress Botanical Garden, located off Solapur road, near Race Course is a center of tourism, entertainment and botany science.
The show is organised by The Agri Horticultural Society of Western India.
On the occassion of the flower show, a drawing and handwriting competition is also organised every year. More than 1200 students participated in this exhibition. This year the competition will be held on January 21.
The exhibition will be held between January 25 and 28, and will be inaugurated on January 25 at the hands of Vijaykumar Magar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Pune City. The exhibition will remain open after the inauguration till 7.30 PM for the visitors.
On January 26, 27 and 28 the exhibition will remain open from 9 AM to 7.30 PM.
