Easter Event
The Loveland Moose Lodge will hold an Easter Event for children in the community at 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 1.
There will be egg coloring, face painting, an egg hunt, games and free hot dogs and chips.
A local firetruck and police car will be on display for children to see, and there will be an appearance by Tommy Moose.
The event is free.
The Loveland Moose Family Center is located at 1408 Morning Drive.

Geocaching Egg Hunt
An Egg-stra Special GPS Geocaching Egg Hunt will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at North Lake Park, 2750 N. Taft Ave.
Participants will use GPS units to solve clues. Each session begins with a brief orientation on how to use the GPS. Teams may need to complete additional challenges along the way.
Cost is $35 per group (up to six people).

Palm Sunday Bake Sale
The Council of Catholic Women of St. John the Evangelist Church will hold its annual Palm Sunday Bake Sale at 2-5 p.m. Saturday, April 1, and 8-11 a.m. Sunday, April 2, at the church at 1730 W. 12th St.
People are encouraged to shop early for the best selection.

Mornings at McKee
The Mornings at McKee 2023 senior series will offer a session at 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 30, at McKee Medical Center, 2000 N. Boise Ave.
Dr. Travis Wilson, foot and ankle specialist with Orthopedic Surgery, will provide insight on foot health, and the wellness team will teach fall prevention exercises.

The Colorado State University Master Gardeners 2023 Spring Series will be held at noon Mondays, April 3-May 1, at the Loveland Public Library, 300 N. Adams Ave., in the Gertrude Scott Room.
On April 3, Susan Bonsall will discuss low water vegetable gardening.
On April 10, Bev Shaw will discuss embracing Colorado gardening.
On April 17, Roger Heins will discuss companion plants for roses.
On April 24, Deb Courtner will discuss gardening for our insect friends.
On May 1, Tony Koski will wrap up the series with water saving tips for your lawn.
The talks are free, and registration is not required.

The 5 Browns
The 5 Browns will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 31, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.
The Browns, five siblings who all attended New York’s Juilliard School, perform individually and together in combinations from duos to complex five-piano arrangements, to bring classical music to the widest audience they can.

Kids on Broadway
Centennial Children’s Chorus will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at the Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St.
The voices of Centennial Children’s Chorus present “Kids on Broadway.” The concert will include performances by CCC’s youngest non-auditioned choir, Primo Coro, Jubilate’s medley from “Pete’s Dragon” and Cantare & Sala Voce’s medley with songs and dances from “Mary Poppins.”
Rounding out the concert will be a piano performance by CCC’s 2023 alumni scholarship recipient, Lucas Barber.

Ukraine Talk
Medea Benjamin, a peace and justice activist and co-founder of Code Pink, will give a talk on the war in Ukraine at 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 3, at Avogadro’s Number, 605 S. Mason St.
Benjamin is the author or co-author of 13 books including books about Cuba, Saudi Arabia and drone warfare. Her most recent book is “War in Ukraine: Making Sense of a Senseless Conflict,” co-authored with Nicolas J.S. Davies.

Storytime
Storytime: The Day the Trash Came Out to Play will take place at 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, April 4-5, at the Larimer County Garbage Garage Education Center, 5887 S. Taft Hill Road.
Children can hear a story and take a recyclable scavenger hunt and feed the recycling bin what they find. There also will be a make and take activity..
