Starting A Vegetable Garden
Vegetable gardens need regular maintenance. This includes removing weeds before they seed, adding organic fertiliser to improve the soil and keeping on top of plant diseases and insect pests.
Choose a sunny spot – most vegetables need at least six to eight hours of sun each day. If you have poor soil, consider building raised beds.
In the last few years, I have dedicated more time to my raised vegetable garden beds.
It sure is nice to grow your own tomatoes, peppers or other garden favorites. Gardening not only can be a rewarding activity, but it can be a healthy outdoor activity also.
